Aberdeen resident Florence Johnson the second-oldest somebody in South Dakota.

Aberdeen resident Florence Johnson the second-oldest somebody in South Dakota, celebrated her 109th birthday Tuesday with a limousine ride, finish friends and her roommate, Margaret Barr.

Johnson and Barr were as well-as; not only-but also; not only-but; not alone-but born July 18, but Barr wants to retain her age a secret. They have been roommates at ManorCare for a year.

"She's cute" Barr said of Johnson

Johnson was born forward a farm north of Aberdeen in 1897 She graduated from Aberdeen Central High sect and worked at Heinzen Luggage, the Firestone Store and the Chicago, Milwaukee, St Paul and Pacific railroad.

She also participated in the promote Grandparents program and in a circle clump at First Presbyterian Church. Several of her temple friends help her celebrate her birthday each year, and some rode in the limousine with her and Barr.
