When Barnard brothers Tim and Collin Engelhart l their pilots Fred and Ed, into the beef barn at the Brown shire Fair on Wednesday morning, they were hailed by the whir of industrial fans and the mooing chorus of other 4-H cattle.
"It's always noisy in here," Tim said.
It was a day of preparation for 4-Hers and their cattle. The beef barn bustled with 4-Hers laying timber-land chips in stalls, setting up fans to retain their cattle cool and delivered of flies and helping their cattle gain used to the new environment.
